My parents figured you would all want some updated pictures of the kids, but all of my stuff was packed so my dad uploaded some from his camera…

So we had a change of plans (not surprising being we’re in India) we ended up leaving Bethesda yesterday instead of today. We had quite a bit to do today, and mom and dad ended up visiting another children’s home last night. They said the people that run it are a really neat couple. Other than that I didn’t get very many details because they got back late and I was already asleep. Yesterday was a super exhausting day that just seemed to drag out, and the days events kept changing. Phyllis, Harold and Luther had  a goodbye service for us and all of the kids that happened before lunch. The majority of the kids (minus the Manipur kids) leave for school around 11ish so we said goodbye to all of them and told them we wouldn’t be there when we got back because we were told that we would leave after lunch. Well, lunch came and rolled around and nothing happened. I went upstairs with marissa and hung out in the room for a while. Me and my mom were able to transfer the 52 bio’s that Phyllis has started to my mom’s computer. So Chris, your going to have some fun projects when we get back :) Around 5:00ish they called us down to the chapel for the goodbye service for everyone (the faculty, students, and the kiddos) I kinda figured that we would leave after that, but the jeep couldn’t make it back to the college because of a special program that was going on at the school. So mom, dad, auntie, and uncle left. Me and marissa stayed behind with Hailey, akshya, and Sipporah. We ended up staying till 7:30ish by the time the jeep got there, and by that time all the kids were back so we had to say goodbye to all of them again. They were all doing pretty well, but they had us like surrounded… it was kinda funny. So we kept inching closer and closer to the vehicle. Then quite a few of the kids started crying and yea. It was hard. Hailey cried almost the entire way home. Poor Sipporah was so confused to as what was going on. she kept saying, “Hailey stop! We’ll come back on Monday. Hailey! Why are you crying? Stop! My mommy will bring us back! Hailey I said stop crying!” I was just getting a kick out of the whole thing. I tried explaining to her why she was crying, but she wasn’t really paying attention  to me. Finally Me and Sipporah started singing and Hailey finally stopped crying but every time we would stop singing she would start again. It was so cute! Then we started singing Christmas carols. Marissa joined in, and I bet our driver thought we were nutso! But we had fun! Me and Hailey even performed for Marissa the “cabbage patch doll” song from CDT (akshya surprisingly slept through all of this). Everyone was still gone when we got home. We gave the little girls baths, my dad called and ordered us pizza, so we ate, then headed upstairs to put the girls to bed because it was getting late. But then we realized that if we feel asleep that the door was locked, so my parents couldn’t get in. So we stuck the key outside in my dad’s shoe. The door dead bolts and everything from the inside so I made super sure that all of the dead bolts and everything were unlocked so they could get in. Sure enough both me and marissa fell asleep with the girls. Thankfully Marissa heard the phone ringing (I was completely out of it!) so she jumped up and grabbed it. It was uncle calling letting us know my parents were waiting downstairs to get in. So she ran downstairs to let them in. I had done a super good job of unlocking all the deadbolts I had just forgotten that I had locked the outside screen door… Whoops my bad :) But hey they made it in so it’s all good. We don’t have anything too crazy planned for the rest of the day. Our flight leaves around 3:00 A.M so hopefully we will all be able to sleep!  Love you all! See ya in a few days!

As we run in this race—As our best effort we bring–We are spurred on by the fact—-That we must win for the King.  (Branon)  The Christian life is not a Sprint it is a Marathon!!!

I Cor. 9:24

Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but only one receives the prize?  So run that you may obtain it.  Yes I fell like I have been running a marathon the last five weeks, but as our time in India comes to a close I am reminded of this verse. We kept telling one another “Finish strong”. By God’s grace He has given us the strength that we have needed to complete the tasks He had for us while we were here.  We are spending today doing laundry, changing bedding at the guest house and cleaning here before we leave this evening for the airport.  We are hoping to get a little nap in before we head to the airport.  Please pray that our connections in London all go smooth.  We heard this morning flights were being canceled coming into Chicago because of the weather, so we are praying we miss all of that!!!  AN extra nights stay in the airport would not be good!!!!

It was bitter sweet yesterday, I am ready to come home but it was so hard to say the so long for nows!!!  A few of the girls started to cry and I was trying not to, but those of you that know me, know that did not last long!!!  I kept telling them we loved them and we would be back again.  Little Moses had tears streaming down his face as they did the good bye prayer for us!!  One of the things we commented on was these kids know how to love and receive love, that is a healthy thing so seeing the tears was good!!!  They are being given love and they can receive it!!

We can not thank you all enough for following our journey with us.  Your notes have been a blessing, we will post more pictures when we get back to the USA.  We send our love to each of you and we will see you soon!!!

So we’ve come to our last week here. Craziness! We are packing up as I type getting ready to head out to the college for out last 3 days there. We will stay there till Wednesday night then head back here to finish up the last minute packing. Pray for us (Wednesday morning your time) as we are saying all of the goodbyes. That’s always the worst part of the trip, and it will be especially hard this time! This past week me and marissa helped cari out with the medical examinations. Marissa did the eye-testing, height, weight, name, age and birthday (when they knew it) while cari did pulse, respirations, blood pressure, and checked their lungs, and I got to plug all the info into the computer. It was fine the first day because we were only bringing in two kids at a time but then the second day we had like 10 kids in there at a time plus another 5 outside waiting. That was interesting as I had both cari and marissa giving me information for different kids at the same time. I sure hope the right info ended up with the right kid J No major issues that we found. A couple had irregular heartbeats, one girl had really bad eye-sight, and one boy had a really high blood pressure, but nothing major. Me, marissa, and Phyllis got the upside room to ourselves for 3 whole nights! (mom, dad, hailey, akshya, auntie, uncle, and sipporah went back to vashi) It was SO nice. We kept commenting on how quiet it was without mom and the little girls in there. It was fun getting to hang out with Phyllis as we haven’t really had a chance since we’ve been here too much. No pictures this week as I didn’t have my camera. But I’m sure when we get home we will have a ton to share with everyone. Well, the jeep is here. Can’t wait to see ya’ll in a couple days!!!

Morning from India,

It is hard to believe this is our last week here.  The time has gone by very fast and God has been so faithful to us.  We have seen His hand working in so many ways.  We are heading back out to the children’s home today to begin saying our goodbyes.  Pastor Bryan and Cari have had a great time and we have loved having them here.  Cari has completed all the medical assessments of the children and Pastor Bryan will finish the last video footage today before they fly out this evening.

We will be having a big party for the kids tonight, cake and special chicken and rice, a birthday celebration for Hailey as well as a party for the kids.  We will hand out candy bars and all their letters from their friends in the USA.  Gene has finished teaching his classes.  The students enjoyed their time with him and we would hear many giggles coming from the classrooms the days he was teaching.  I will be finishing working in the education cabinet today, organizing and restocking the shelves with notebooks, pencils and erasers that Marissa bought all of the kids.  I am also trying to finish a sewing lesson that we started.  Between thread running out, needles breaking and the machine not working it has been a long drawn out process.

Pray for us as we leave Wed. evening, actually our Thursday morning here.  Our flight leaves at 3 AM so pray for sweet rest on the plane!!!  We can’t wait to see all of you.  We send our love.

Hey all! So I have good news… The bag which we have dubbed as “the missing bag” can no longer be dubbed as ” missing” as it has been found! :) PTL!!!! My cousin informed me yesterday that it was delivered via FedEx sometime Friday morning (U.S time) How it got there, we have no idea, we are just thankful that somehow/someway it did. I’ve been informed that I owe all of you two apologies. The first for the lack of blog postings. I was just too exhausted last week when we came back to the guest house to post. As far as the second apology, I understand that many of you are holding me personally responsible for the vikings loss on Sunday. Ok ok i’m sorry everyone, but hey look at the bright side! I won’t miss my team playing in the super bowl! Now that we have the apologies out of the way…

We had another amazing, yet exhausting week. This week was different as the last as out “newness” is wearing off which is nice because we are able to work better with them. My dad and mr. mumford left on Wednesday and get back sometime tomorrow. Dad called on Saturday and said all was going well. From what we understood the train ride went well, though they have lots of stories to tell.  We are getting ready for Pastor Bryan and Cari flying in tomorrow night. We have it worked out where we will all be able to meet them here in Mumbai (minus Phyllis who went back to the Bible college today after church) they will come to the guest house Monday night then we will all head out to the campus on Tuesday morning. It will be kinda fun seeing more white faces walking around the campus :) Hard to believe we only have 10 more days in India. The time flew by SO fast! I was talking with Marissa last night and I was like “you know I’m not homesick. I don’t want to go home, but yet i’m ready too. If that makes sense. It’s gonna be really hard leaving the kidddos again but i’m ready to go home and see everyone” and she was like “yeah, I don’t miss the novelties (my own room, my bed, stuff like) that but I miss the people”. So I decided that either all of you need to move to India or i’m gonna bring all of the kiddos home with me. Hmm…  I don’t know which would be easier. One of the girls came up to me and said “sister, i’m going to bind you and not let you leave” I said, “Well, Mary why don’t you just go hide in my suitcase and i’ll take you home.” She looked at me and said, “Oh ok.” Then of course I had like 20 girls telling me they were going to hop in my suitcase as well so I may need to shop for a bigger suitcase. Although I think as soon as the plane landed and they felt the temp they would all be begging me too take them back. The weather here has been pretty gorgeous the entire time though I must admit, as crazy as it sounds, I miss the snow!

I have so many funny stories and pictures, but with how crazy these kids are it would take me ages to write them all so i decided I would share just a few starting with my favorite:

It was republic day and the majority of the Bethesday girls and me and Phyllis had just finished a match of a game (of which I don’t remember the name.) Anyways, we were all taking a break and watching the boys match, all the sudden one of the girls became so intrigued because she realized that when she pressed on my skin for a little bit her fingers would leave a mark for a split second. Then once one girl discovered it they all wanted to see (it must be an Indian thing because Bob I remember you doing the SAME thing to me over and over and over again) So while they were doing this Nandini looks over at me and says, “So sister if I come to America will my skin become as white as yours?” I cracked up and then have her a quick science lesson on pigmentation :)

I wasn’t here for this one but my mom and marissa found this one super humorous. There’s a little boy here by the name of Job, who’s just a little stinker! So my mom was teaching and Marissa looks over and Job is sitting there weaving a pencil in and out between my mom’s toes. Marissa said it made it all the more funny because he was totally fascinated with it and wasn’t even trying to be funny. On top of it my mom was trying super hard to ignore and keep going on with the lesson, but they both almost lost it.

I want to try and get video tape of this one for all of you, these two girls (Mary and Nandini) have this thing going on where whenever they see me they start impersonating an American person… It is SO SO funny. They start talking louder, and faster, and start waving their arms around wildly while trying their best at an American accent.

So I hope you all enjoy the pics! Have an awesome Sunday! Love you all!

January 27 – Update from India January 27, 2010

Filed under: India Trip 2010 — childrensopportunity @ 11:46 pm

Greetings from the Witte fam,

The week began with more teaching of graduating seniors at the college and teaching the children at the children’s home.  Gene and Dave have taught and preached their hearts out…it has been a blasted.  We will post pictures this weekend when the girls return of the teaching and the weeks highlights.  Each day we are amazed at the team that has been assembled to care for this ministry.  We will be capturing personal video interviews from those who personally caring for the children next week when Pastor Bryan and Cari arrive.  Looking forward to hanging out with our ministry partners in India at the children’s home for nine days.  Those of you who have had the privilege to visit face to face will agree there is a “heavenly” hope in the faces of these kids.  When you see poverty and and beggars by the multitude and you then compare that with the joyful-optimistic-grateful spirit of these 77 young people IT ROCKS YOUR HEART.  So thankful and happy are the children.  We are going to have a “special meal” for them next week and give them each a candy bar…should be fun.  They absolutely go nuts over “special events”.  I wish we could package up their energy, appreciation and joyfulness and send each of you a can to open in your own homes…I absolutely guarantee your life would be changed…permanent for the better.  You will see the guys and girls teaching, sewing, jumping rope, playing volleyball, soccer, writing numbers, saying blends, writing alphabet and reading books….soon.  Please be in prayer for the Surrett’s as they get ready to fly…I understand they have sick kiddo’s at home.  Please pray for the girls and they continue the ministry on the campus then travel back into town on Friday…late night.  Please pray for Dave and i as we leaving for airport at 5am…then onto Hyderabad, Andrea Predesh where we will be catching a train at 5pm then travel six hours  arriving at the pastor conference at 1 am.   We will check in a motel and get ready to preach another 5 times each on Friday/Saturday then off to some churches on Sunday.  Many of these pastors come from churches that have–will face persecution.  Dave and I just want God to use us as we humbly serve these front line warrior.  For the FBC family….it is a great joy for me to hang out with our Missionaries Dave & Marissa (Dave & Cyndie’s daughter) on the missions trip.  They are a dynamite family and we are having a blast.  Lots of fun stories and neat pictures to share when we arrive home.  I have got to head to bed….4 am is going to come awful quick.  Have a great weekend and will miss you but expect you to be in church:).  Pastor for the Witte family in India

Church today went very well. I ended up sitting in on three church services. I think that’s the most i’ve ever sat in on in one day. Everyone (minus mr. mumford) started out by going to the twin cities church (a new church plant) dad’s message was on contentment (which me and marissa decided was appropriate for the day that followed) we had to leave right before they started communion and headed straight to Chembur church where mr. mumford was preaching. We assumed that since he left the house the same time that we did, he would be finished preaching when we got there. But he was still talking so we sat down. He kept talking and talking and talking, marissa leaned over to me and said this is so strange my dad is normally never long winded. Well come to find out he had just started preaching when we got there. We got to see phyllis very briefly. From what she told us she is doing well. We headed to telegu church after that. We were late arriving but we were on India time so it was all good. Us girls all went and sat in the back and dad and mr. mumford went upfront. When my dad started his message (which was on assurement) marissa said yes! Thank goodness he’s not preaching the same message! Haha I had to laugh because I had just been thinking the exact same thing. They had a 10 mn deacons meeting after the service and after that we all stayed and ate lunch there. Dad and mr. mumford both took pickle sauce (which is pretty spicy) when they passed it around and kaala auntie leaned over to me, pointed at mr. mumford and said uh-oh I believe he wants to begin blushing again :) that’s been her joke to me that when the mumfords eat the spicy food they begin “blushing” I’m working on my hindi! Shakina (7) has been teaching me. She’s quite a good teacher and I would highly recommend her. She was making me laugh. Goofy girl. The temp here today was around 90/95ish I believe, but there was a slight breeze which was nice. My minnesotan upbringing kicked in today when I walked outside and realized how hot it was I stopped and said “oofta” :) Well, tomorrow’s the day! We leave mid-morning for Bethesda and everyone is really excited! We most likely will not have any postings on the blog till late Friday night or Saturday. I’m sure I will have many stories/pictures for ya’ll.

Love you all!

We had a pretty full day but it was good. My dad made all of my fam breakfast this morning (the mumfords were still asleep back at the sportsmans) He made eggs, potatoes, toast, and fresh fruit. Well he didn’t make the fruit but he bought it :) After breakfast we waited for the mumfords to wake up then we walked down to Auntie and Uncle’s house. We got a hold of Kaala auntie and she met us down at the market so all of us girls could get out punjabi’s picked out. Aunt Dawn you should be proud of me! I only bought 3 this time :) I think i’ve ridden more on the auto rickshaw’s this trip then I have my other trips combined. Since we don’t all fit in auntie and uncle’s vehicle it is our normal mode of transportation, which none of us are complaining about. After a couple hours of shopping we came back to the house and my parents crashed for about 3 hours (akshya had woken up at 3 o’ clock this morning wide awake so they were pretty tired this afternoon) We had told kaala auntie that we wanted to take her and her 3 girls (Nancy, Nissi, and Shakina) out to eat and dad let the girls choose where they wanted to go… they picked McDonalds. I realized how much kids in America take that place for granted. The girls were SO excited to go. You don’t get that kind of reaction back home when you say your going to McDonald’s. The mall was crazy busy so me, marissa, hailey, akshya, and the 3 girls had to sit on one side of the food court and dad, mr. mumford, mom and kaala auntie sat way on the other side. Let me tell you the five of those girls get crazy together. Marissa wanted to get a picture of something in the mall so i went with her and they all followed us. We ended up riding up and down a ton of escalators trying to keep up with them. They just thought they were the funniest things ever! We realized that all of our towls/wash clothes were in the missing bag so we stopped at a store in the mall to get some. The check out line was really long and the girls were getting bored so they asked me to take them somewhere. I had no idea where but kaala auntie said it was fine so off we went (Me, nancy, nissi, shakina, and akshya) We ended up somewhere out front of the mall. There were so many people out but surprisingly I felt perfectly comfortable. We sat there for quite a while watching this ball ride that they were doing and pretty soon the rest of the clan came out and off we went in the auto’s again.

Just a side note… you all should not be jealous of the hot weather as it is really hot. I think today the high was around 95ish. I’m not sure of the exact temp but that’s pretty close. I hear ya’ll got a pretty good heat wave going on there to. 33 degrees in waseca today is what we heard. Craziness! Your all going to be in shorts by the time I get home :) ok maybe not but in the mean time I will enjoy my shorts/skirts for the next month then it’s back to the jeans/sweatshirts.

Love you all! Have an awesome Saturday and I’ll miss you all in church. O and by the way don’t forget your memory verses sr highers! One of you has to send me the verses. I don’t wanna miss out on those scratch and sniff stickers when I get back home!!!! :)

Hey Everyone,

It is 11:04 and we are all getting ready for bed.  Our bodies are still suffering jet lag.  Poor Akshya crawled into bed with Gene and I last night and was wide awake for three hours from 3- 6.  Then she feel sound asleep.  Another day or two and we should be getting our clocks set to Indian time!!  His grace has been sufficient and I was reminded reading in Proverbs this morning that He goes before us and guides and leads the way.  For that I am so thankful.  It is amazing how dependent we feel on those around us to help us when we are out in the mall and shopping.  Making sure we are getting good deals.  I am reminded of how self sufficient I can become going along in life forgetting how dependent I need to be on my God.  We found out today that our luggage was delivered late last night to the place we were staying at in London, so we will see if it ends up in Mumbai now.  We went and bought washcloths today and a few other things that were missing from that bag.  Pray that it does make it to us somehow.  I am trying to be patient with living out of a suitcase, that is a bit hard each morning and we will be repacking for the week tom as we will be heading to the Bible college on Monday.  We all can not wait to see the kids and Phyllis!!

We are looking forward to church services tommorrow. Gene and Dave will be preaching in three services and we will most likely be helping with Sunday School.  Thanks for all the posts, it is great to hear from home.  Akshya is having so much fun waving at everyone in the auto rickshaw.  We have to keep reminding her she is not the queen of India!!  And you do need to keep your hands inside of the rickshaw lest the next vehicle takes it with!!  I do well in the rickshaw but I must admit the bus six inches from my nose (Okay maybe I am exaggerating it might have only been three) today did make me gasp just a tad!!

We send our love.  Our email correspondence will be limited next week while we are at the college so we will post when we can.

Hey all! Well we made it!! We got in around 12:45ish this morning but didn’t get to the house till around 3:00 (we spent quite a while trying to track down that stupid bag at the airport ,unfortunately to no avail. The bag is still floating out there somewhere in the world, and I must say is having a wonderful tour! Last we heard it was in the London airport but honestly right now we have no idea. We left the airport auntie and uncle’s address so hopefully it will make it “home”. We also left a phone number for our hotel back in London to contact us should the bag arrive there. A big prayer was answered as we did find all of the jumpropes and soccer balls for the kids! And yes, we even found the chocolate (ALL 18 pounds of it). By the time we got home and got settled, unpacked some bags, and what not me and marissa got to sleep around 7:00 (A.M) and woke up around 3:30 (P.M) so the jet-lag may take a couple days more days than normal to get over but no one has been affected to much by it yet. Thank you all for praying for Marissa’s flight. There were no cancellations and she was actually there waiting for us there at our gate when we arrived. The flight went well (minus quite a bit of turbulence and the landing) :)   The little girls did very well again on the flight (those portable tv screens are a life-saver!) Akshya gave us a little but of a scare as she started one of her puking attacks when we got to the airport. She got sick twice and thank God neither of them were on the plane. She was a trooper though and is back to acting like her normal self now. This morning (which was technically this afternoon) when we all woke up we went downtown to the mall. We all got to ride in the auto rickshaws which hailey was SO excited about. I got to ride with mr. mumford and marissa and it was fun seeing their reactions. Mr. mumford and dad had gone on a walk this morning but this was marissa’s first time out (minus the drive home last night) she didn’t say much just kept looking around :) The mall was a fairly new one that we hadn’t been to before and it was super nice (like America nice not India nice) We got some money exchanged and then went to a grocery store. We were able to get some chips, pop, candy, and mom even found her diet coke. Haha we probably looked like typical Americans coming out of that store with their pop and chips :) Oh the most exciting part of the day for Hailey and Akshya was they got to ride on a bull! :) When we got to the mall they had on of those bucking bronco ride. Akshya (by far my bravest sister!) was the first one to hop on. The guy was controlling it from his stand so he kept it nice and slow at first and she was loving it! Then he sped it up… she didn’t like that too much and started crying so he turned the speed back down right away. She hung on for quite a while then the bull got the best of her and she slipped off. She kept holding onto the rope though so it freaked her out a little bit. Hailey was next and did really well until the bull really bucked her and off she flew. We thought we were done but then dad got challenged by the guy at the stand and Lazarus (Auntie’s brother) and you know my dad, he just can’t turn down a challenge. So he got on. The guy at the stand let him have it and he wasn’t on very long before he fell off. After he regained composure he quickly informed us that he just fell off so he wouldn’t hurt the bulls feelings… Uh-huh sure dad! We all got a super good laugh of the whole fiasco as it was quite an adventure. By this point we were all pretty hungry so we went to get some all-american food. No we didn’t go to McDonalds but he next best thing, KFC! It was kinda funny though because they had put some spice in the foods. Who would have thought that your nose could start running from the spice at KFC for goodness sake!

I don’t have very many pictures to post today. Mainly because i haven’t taken barely any since we let London *gasp* I know I know. Considering I took 400 in London it’s a shocker. But hey! I only had three days there and I have around 25 here so i have plenty of time to catch up. Monday we leave for the Bible College and i’m SO excited. Can’t wait! For those of you who are wondering we haven’t seen Phyllis yet. She’s at the Bible college with the kiddos. We’ll see her Monday. We will have steady internet access for the next couple days and after that when we go to the Bible college during the week internet access will be limited thus our posts will be limited as well. Well i’m off to bed. Have a lovely day everyone! Love you all and miss you!

So for those of you who are wondering… yes, london is amazing! I told my parents today i’m going to study abroad here when I get to college . I love it. The architecture, the people, the sights, the accents :) I wish I could post all of the pictures I took today but I kid you not I took around 400 haha and being the fam is going to bed soon I guess i’ll have to wait on that. I didn’t really post a  lot pictures so if you would like to see them when we get home I would be more than happy. I got some gorgeous scenery pics! We left the hotel around 9:00 this morning and went to the bus station and got on the “original tour”. It was super nice because we could get on and off at whatever stops we wanted. We were able to see the majority of the major sights (big ben, buckingham palace, parliament square, some of the famous statues and so on) but it was all slushy out so me, hailey and akshya’s feet got sopping wet so halfway through the day we went to Westminister Abbey. We weren’t able to take any photograph’s inside but let me tell you it was beautiful! We were there for over 2 hours so we were able to dry off a little but. Then we went back outside to keep touring. By then it was getting dark so the city was all lit up. We were able to see the tower of london, the eye of london, and big ben (again) lit up. It was breathtaking! We stopped at Costa’s (similar to a caribou) and got some hot chocolate’s, latte’s, mocha’s and americano’s to warm up. We then went on to take a boat tour on the thames river. When my dad told my mom we were going on a boat tour she just kind of looked at him until he explained that it was an enclosed boat so we were nice and toasty. It was getting pretty late by this time but we still hadn’t done any shopping so we went and bought passes to the tube (the underground train) and went to Oxford Street. Everyone was pretty tired by this point so we only went to a few stores, ate dinner, hopped back on the tube, grabbed some baskin robins ice cream, and headed back to the hotel. Tomorrow the taxi will be here bright and early at 6:30 to take us to the airport where we will meet up with Marissa and then we will finally be on our way to India! Yay!

A few prayer requests:

The missing bag is still… well… missing :) the airport was suposedly supposed to bring it to our hotel this morning, then they changed it to tonight and let’s just say we still haven’t gotten it yet. Pray that it is here before we leave tomorrow! Unfortunately it had all of our medicine (minus our malaria pills  and pro-biotics)which thank the Lord mom had packed in her suitcase)

Because of the snow some flight are being delayed/cancelled from France so pray that Marissa’s flight makes it to London with no difficulty and that we have no problems meeting up with her.

That Hailey and Akshya do as well on this second half of the flight as they did on the first

That our bodies adjust once we hit India with time/temperature changes.

— Sarah for the fam

P.S Major prayer request was just answered! As I was finishing typing my mom found some of our medicines in one of the bags we had with us. A few are still in the other bag but we have the major ones we need.
